I've just downloaded my fitness pal app,
So far I have consumed 940cals
(My goal is 2300cals a day)
And I've only had breakfast,
it's going to be a tough day.

The idea of having to worry about the calories I consume fills me with horror.

I have come down to find a headless, slightly chewed mouse on a clean rug.
Then as I put the kettle on, from behind me came that lovely upchucking noise that cats make. Jasper has thrown up all over the floor. Fortunately he saw fit to do it in the kitchen. Pamments are at least easily cleaned.

The Vomiting Labrador (TM) doesn't like throwing up on hard surfaces. I thought she ruined my the landlords' carpet because it's by the back door and her number one preference is to throw up on grass, but then I was round at a friend's and while I was distracted, Snipe (who I thought had eaten something she shouldn't but couldn't prove it), left the kitchen, walked over the wooden floor in the living room to the brand new rug in the corner to throw up there.

Timmy the Red Burmese brought in a pigeon yesterday, I discovered it on the bathroom floor, what I don't understand is that he has never brought in anything ever. The bird must've been dead already.

YYikes, that nearly my entire darys calories!

I've been on 1,000 calories a day weekdays and 1,200 calories a day at the weekends since the beginning of the year. My diet is going well, but I need some new bathroom scales (
)but need to make sure this time I actually come home with scales and not a new car!

My husband had a shock when I signed what he normally had for a portion of cereal. It was 4! He now weighs it out each day and looks at it pathetically. We've made sure we have purchased smaller bowls for breakfast. It sort of helps.

You didn't stamp on the scales when they didn't tell the tale you wanted?

I do think smaller bowls are the answer.

Fair weathered, fair minded but easily persuaded.
It does for me too,
I was horrified with the results from this morning breakfast, as it was all normal breakfast for me.

But I will only do it for a week and see what I can change, saves going to a dietitian.
Don't waste your money on a dietitian. I did recently after being diagnosed with a chronic condition and all I learnt was to eat nuts after you have eaten fruit to help combat the fruit sugars
The reality of that bit of advice was £150.

Porridge or eggs for breakfast is your way forward.

Cereals are just bags of sugar in a box.
