+1... good luck @CarlP. Not that there's anything mundane about a half marathon.

We are in Heacham and about to go watch the sunset on the beach.

Our hire bikes are serviceable but I have been spoiled by my beautiful Neko

The bike shop was helpful when I was there, and the place we stayed had two bikes we could have used. I will confess to oiling the rusty chains. I'd have done more but OH didn't approve.

Have you tried the 'road' from North Beach to Hunstanton yet?

Crab country, very nice. Found the West Norfolk Sunday lunch quite good.

My memory of the river was that it was quite a bit wider by the beach in the mid '60's.

We are returned from the Mangal, so stuffed I couldn't manage a pint of Steamin' Billy on the way home. Turkish food could become my new addiction.

More Cromer from our experience. Not many places in Hunstanton seemed to do crab.

Rebuilt my garage shelving after it collapsed this afternoon while I and Mrs. GA were out getting fish and chips at Dennys. I also watched some of Wimbledon there.
Someone had bought a single speed Raleigh Rampar bicycle, but he also bought a Porsche Boxster, so I helped him out by relieving him of the Rampar.
I try to help, in small ways.
I'll probably lighten the Rampar frame of bits needed, and redo an old Grand Prix the same.

I believe the Raleigh(Carleton ) 1972 Grand Prix will be the winner, as I've found a seat post and the original stem for this . Wrap around seat stays, I've already removed the cottered crank for a square taper some time ago, and a goodly amount of the original (beautiful) paint job (red, with black panels) is still in evidence. I may refer to it as Saturday Night and Sunday Morning.
