After a bit of time in South America, he may develop different ideas about "inedible" food and broken seats.

Gravel is now in Lima. He is writing an angry letter in Spanish to the airline because his seat was broken and his TV didn't work. His food was also inedible. A bit of a bummer for a 12 hour flight. Mind you it didn't really matter because he had eaten two super sized Burger King meals in Madrid before the flight. I'm guessing that was what broke his seat.

I'm back from a 14 mile run and I hurt. A lot.

Snipe gave me a fright on our walk. She jumped into the river but instead of the usual splashing about, there was only silence. I went to see what had happened and she was so hot, she was just standing in the deepest bit, letting the water cool her down.

I managed to take a photo through my telescope using my phone just held against the eyepiece. It hasn't turned out too bad, the phone is an old ish somesang. I have got to figure out how to post it.

I have made soup. And curry. And got meat marinading for bbq. And frantic housework is about to commence due to unexpected invitees to said bbq.

We are returned from our shopping expedition. There was bento for lunch, a rather snazzy pair of flip flops, a visit to the deli for some stinky cheese, a raid of Hotel Chocolate for essentials and of course, I secured a pair of white trousers
