Hill Wimp

Fair weathered, fair minded but easily persuaded.
Stuffed now after a family dinner out at a nice country pub. I'm going to cycle out that way tomorrow now as I have spied a hill that needs climbing.

I must be ill

The only number plate I can remember from my childhood was for our dark green mini estate, GBL932C. It's hard to imagine how we ever fitted in it. There were always at least one of us four children in the boot, depending how many people we were giving a lift to! Three adults and four children went on holiday in it on the ferry from Swansea to Cork and through the Irish lanes to Bantry Bay. All the luggage on the roof rack. After ten years it went to the scrap heap in the sky and my dad bought a Bedford Van with slat seats. When he braked we'd all go sliding up to the front. Actually as I type this I'm remembering it's number plate too, LAA192L. That also finally went to the scrap heap in the sky after many adventures.
I can remember my current number plate by turning the letters into a silly sentence but can't recall any of my previous cars.

I can't believe I'm still up but I've been watching the exciting cycling. No spoilers here.
Feeling a bit achey from a day in the garden. Tools used : sweeping brushes and pan, hedge clippers, step ladder, lawn edger thingy, fork and trowel, secateurs, watering can, knife and scraper thing, kneeler and gloves.
Garden looking much neater now.

The fireworks seem to be over but they've turned up the volume of the music. :ninja:
Turn up the volume of something that you like?

My first car was a mini estate. Being long of leg I had some angle brackets that tilted the drivers seat back. Didn't leave much room on the back seat. But with the seats down it was incredible what you could get in! Great fun to drive.
