I posted on facebook about not getting a decent brew on holiday, my uncle replied that he takes his own tbags, I pointed out that not all rooms had a fridge and it was too hot even for small pots of milk so he suggested powdered milk. So I replied, you are suggesting I put a bag of white powder in my suitcase? How long do you think customs would like to chat to me about that
Green (Chinese) Tea, best without milk (or indeed sugar) tastes like tea (unless you buy the flavoured ones) and @The Velvet Curtain knows where the Chinese shop that sells it is (teabags too under the 'Sea Dyke' brand)

Learn to love black tea, or go green.

True, and we did have green tea on the first day, but it's not the same as a mug of builder's.
True, but, I've got bad sinuses so cutting down on 'Dairy' is a good idea but I love Cheese so I always had black Coffee or Tea with Lemon juice, for me Green Tea has been a revelation and I rarely drink any other 'Hot Beverage'
However it does make a heck of a drink with a drop of Gin in it, not a lot but a single measure in a cup just hits the spot 'mid-afternoon'. (but don't tell @Hill Wimp or @hopless500 .:becool:)

Never mind snacks and beverages.
I didn't quite manage to get a haircut yesterday.
Markets didn't plummet, nuclear bombers were not re-tasked, and fortunately, ice shelves didn't fall into the sea.
I'll ring for an appointment later.
That remind me that I must ask Mrs L to get the clippers out and give the old bonce a trim(mine not hers)

Badly missing a little friend...

About to collect wedding cake for my little sister's wedding on Sunday. She's getting married in the UK. I thought I'd join in and have my own cake made up for her marriage by a vegan cafe that is excellent. She doesn't know yet... Chocolate and raspberry... My two favourite ingredients. Chocolate head held and should continue to help the first paragraph!
