I have had the great joy and pleasure of doing lots of cement mixing and brick laying, and helping out with concrete mixing and pouring on our cottage. Plus digging most of the footings out after two others managed to go through the water main. Twice
My ex also taught me the heady delights of knowing about 'slump'.
I have my own brick laying trowel and stuff
