So gorgeous I'm out on a ride. Got a bit more pedalling to do yet though

Be careful what you wish for!

I should have said, I almost wished it would briefly rain, whilst on my bike ride. It was the first time I struggled to keep cool. The wind though strong was so warm, it didn't act as a cooler. Even my feet were hot, which was weird.

It was strange yesterday afternoon, I was upstairs getting showered and changed after my ride and I had very cold feet, most peculiar it was about 80 degrees in the house.

My beautiful French racing blue Bugatti Type 33 has been seriously damaged in an accident.

The cat knocked it from the mantelpiece.

I have experienced an earthquake, which is another tick on my bucket list.

Still recovering from the jolt I had this morning. The kitten has just come up for a cuddle and is purring away.

It was a lovely bright sunny start this morning but it has now clouded over. The parcel I had waited in for has apparently been lost in the post and I am waiting for a reply from the seller to hear when he intends to send a replacement. At present I don't think I will be leaving a positive feedback.

San Severino Marche about 120km north of the most badly effected towns. Bluddy scary, our bedroom is in a tower above the main house and we were thrown about while in bed, and the fourth aftershock was a big one.

Cracks in walls and ceilings, flakes of plaster everywhere, but we are all fine, if shaken.
