I am back in my pyjamas and have warned the dog not to expect anything exciting today. It's now raining, which is cheering me up. (Apologies to anyone caught in the rain.)
The bunting is out and we've turned the drizzle up to warm.Congratulations, @shouldbeinbed .
Has Manchester prepared for TVCs' arrival?
So did I.
My friend made us some Jaffa cakes years ago (started as a joke to get my youngest child to cycle back to the car after a reasonably hard off in the Forest of Dean). They were delicious! View attachment 141145
I think I'm the only person in the world who doesn't like Jaffa cakes. Orange and chocolate together are vile.![]()
They were really nice, especially the orange bit that was sharper than a normal one!Due to my skills in the kitchen, I would just buy them![]()

Never heard of a monsoon cake, but cake is one of my big downfalls... (Equivalent to @potsy and kebabs!), though it has to be home made to be really tempting! (Not necessarily by me, just not made in a factory). We are not big cake eaters so it is rare we bake although thanks to @Night Train, TVC has made a seriously scrummy lemon monsoon cake![]()
