I just witnessed a Mini drive into a BMW. Mini clearly at fault. When the Mini driver got out and began her conversation with the words ''Didn't you see me?'' to the BMW driver, I immediately offered to be a witness. (She'd crossed a carriageway marked with long white lines without either indicating or looking for oncoming vehicles.)

The fact that my last two cycling accidents were both caused by lamentable Mini driving only increased my sense of civic duty.

Well, I went on a ride after and I'm glad I did as I thoroughly enjoyed it ! I managed to take a route on fire roads and paths through the forest where I was a little sheltered form the wind, but caught it big time in one area.

Tea and Malted milks now...both in quantity

I got some coffee out ready for my return from the shops and when I got back the smell of the coffee had mingled with the lingering smell of last night's curry. I'm now wondering whether anybody had tried putting coffee in their curries because it smelled delicious. I noticed a recipe recommendation outside Sainsburys a few weeks ago to put coffee in Spaghetti Bolognese so perhaps it's not that odd an idea.

Hate to tell you this, but a mini is BMW & they were probably magnetically attracted to each other.
