It was wet and windy all the way from Yorkshire to Wiltshire. It took 5 hours, I can remember it used to be under 4, must be inflation.

It came as no surprise to me today that Investors in People declined to renew my school's accreditation.

As a resident of Enderby we campaigned against 'Centre 21' back in the late 70s and successfully got the plans revoked with Blaby Council. Didn't make a jot of difference in the long run, they still built Fosse Park and the Meridian anyway.
Asda was the start of it.

They are bunging some more up now.

It was sufficiently windy to close the Old Severn Bridge crossing in one direction and no high sided vehicles .... weird that it's calm with you!

Just remembered to go and check strava for a certain back street segment that only has one female on it ... but today I improved my QOM and equaled the KOM..... (ignore any comments I made up thread about it being windy .... it was completely calm ... possibly even a head wind on that road and I didn't detour specifically to that road because of the possible direction of the wind)

Yep, I know but the damage has already been done. Maybe this time they'll improve the infrastructure, the new bridge over the Motorway may help but the ring road will always be a problem going through Braunstone. It was originally planned for it to go through the Kingsway (and the width was left for it when they built that bit) but sticking it through Hand Avenue in a cutting was a big mistake, they should have bulldozed part of 'The Dodge' when it was constructed.
