I saw three kids on hoverboards within three hundred yards of each other.

Hoverboards? They don't hover! How long before the kids get bored with them?

About as soon as one of them bursts into flames. They've been doing that with regularity over here.
It's about like those flyboards. I should buy stock in a medical supplies company, after this Christmas.

Back from mass, groceries, and dog-walking. Lunch still an hour away, probably something to do with ham, which is exquisite. Maybe tinned corned beef for lunch to-morrow. It has also turned winter here again, due to really turn cold later this week.

We've had two pink roses in bloom outside the kitchen window over Christmas.
