I did a walk last New Year's Day that was extremely muddy... The sort you got stuck in and left your wellie behind!

Morning Summerdays.

Lu and I are waiting for the rest of the house to stir. There is a brother and sister in law upstairs, a brother in the caravan, a nephew and his wife, a great nephew and a great niece all fast asleep in the spare bedrooms. I am informed that there are bacon and egg rolls for brekkie and my tummy is rumbling.

I wish there was a dog that we could 'accidentally' let into the bedrooms to help them wake up.

The temp is still in the teens, next years crop of blackberries are just starting to ripen and the baby birds a fledging
