With the wind yesterday and a rising barometer I thought the ground would dry out nicely. Then it rained overnight.

Did a check walk along the canal, it was worse than I had hoped.

Mr Bird was hiding in a tree and got me as I rode underneath, he might have been a pigeon or a crow or one of the other larger birds.

I'm not sure Mr Summerdays has ever met his boss ... he's in India ... everything is done over the phone (except when they arrange meetings for 4 AM .... then he suggests if they really want his attendance at a conference call they could adjust the time to be more suitable to all!)
