Coincidentally..............Mrs Colly did an apple cake/sponge/dessert of her own invention this afternoon when the family came to dinner.

It's all gone.

Better yet is baked apple. Plain and simple yet immensly satisfying.
Just a cored apple, stuffed with rasins and or sultanas, a clove and a good sprinkle of brown sugar. In a baking dish with a bit of water in the oven for maybe 10 mins.

The dog is getting very excited, sitting by the patio doors watching it snow. He loves snow... but I think he's going to be disappointed.

my little Border loves the snow..sadly she cant see it now but ive had hrs of fun with her playing snow games ..i think she eats a fair bit lol
