Meanwhile, back at the ranch, my Kroger is leaving Normal and moving across the street and over by the clinic I go to in Bloomington, so they can build a $10 million dollar superstore, and get away from the nearby subsidized housing .It's a shame, they were an inexpensive grocery store, and many of the people in subsidized housing will not now have a source of fresh vegetables and such in the neighborhood. This is true of many poorer neighborhoods in the States, you can't just go into a nearby store, because the nearby store has only a few prepared foods, a few frozen pizzas, beer, cigarettes, and lottery tickets.
