I've just phoned my 92 year old auntie to wish her a happy birthday.
She had no idea who I was
We all know that feeling.
Reminded me of a friend at school who used to try to cycle & smoke a cigarette, never very successfully. He also tried dipping them in meths*, I can't recall what for.
*I had a meths stove for boiling water when we went out. Not sure if 16yr olds could buy meths today.

My grandson's birthday party tomorrow. His mother has remembered why she never had one in the past. I shall not be attending, as was my practice with my own children.
