At 7.48 yahoo weather forcast told me there was a 95% risk of rain within the next 15 minutes. It failed to tell me about the very high winds though.

The birds are frantically feeding at the bedroom window. I can only assume that the next batch of bad weather is due. Time to check the rain radar.

I am human again today. Off to the garden centre for a big fry up.


On Saturday I drank more beer than I have in a single session for at least 10 years. It was a great night, but perhaps another 10 years before I go on the lash like that again.

We were in Sainsburys this morning and found a perfect present for my nephew, yes I know it is early but if we waited then there may not be any left and it is perfect for a 4 year old. A lifeboat with buttons to make noises, it can be used in the bath, it even has an anchor. The joy of being an aunt is that I can buy noisy presents and only have to put up with them for a few hours before sending home
