The weather here is so horrible, my chickens have decided to go back into their house and stay there. They aren't that stupid then.

Went to take the landlady's dog for a walk. Before I could ask her to have a towel handy for when we got back, she asked me very politely not to get her dog went. It was said with a smile on her face. All I could do was respond with a Terry Pratchet response, and that was I would try to teach him to walk between the rain drops, but you know what they say about an old dog and new tricks....

If it's anything like here then I admire your resolve, I need to go do another errand 1 mile away which I normally cycle to, I am waiting fr a gap in the rain, so far there is no sign of one
