They don't put salt on the roads and pavements of Stockholm. They spread loose chippings. Every passing car sounds like the tyres are flat, and the cleats of my shoes are full of little Swedish stones.

When we were last there in winter (some 19 years ago), it seemed to work far better than the UK approach of trying to melt the snow and then wondering why you had ice when it refroze!

Just finished another stool. I have a new hobby... but it may have a natural end limit to it. Our house is only so big and there are only so many stools a single house can have!
I did a different pattern this time around. I went with a tight diamond weave instead of a loose 4+2 open weave.



It is fun though.
