To follow I had blade of beef while Lu had sea bass and prawn with a shellfish foam (Potsy, it's posh fish and chips) accompanied by a smooth Chilean pinot noir.

To finish a tonka bean creme brullee with raspberry sorbet and almond tuille.

Then just to make sure we had dessert cocktails, a black forest vodka gateau for Lu, and a dark chocolate, turkish delight martini for myself.
