I used a turbo for years, I brought my first one about 1992-93, and had a winter training routine, training for the spring reliability trials, but eventually I wasn't getting anything out of it, it had become just routine, so I stopped, I started again after my close encounter with Angina but after a few years I stopped again.
I must admit that I've tried not to use it. After our tour in France last year weather became a less feared enemy so I've kept to outdoor pootling but recent continuous stormy weather has sapped my resistance. Or I've gone soft.

I have to say that when erected my turbo is very useful

Actually, I've managed to get on the turbo 3 days on the trot. I've just got over a heavy cold and I'm still pretty congested so a bit of heavy breathing helps clear the chest. It's not the ideal weather for an outdoor workout.

We have a turbo trainer but just found it so boring to use even when listening to upbeat music so haven't used it for ages however my running shoes are being pressed into action.

Never had a turbo, but have an exercise bike from years ago, hated it.

Question for the engineering set.

One of my birthday pressies was a Gillette Power Glide razor thingy, like a normal gillette but with a battery in the handle.
What exactly does electrickery bring to a wet shave experience?

And why the F are the blades £26 a pack????
