Well it's morning but I've slept badly, having been woken by rain/hail slamming into the windows repeatly! And I've just heard the Old Severn bridge is closed, I was expecting it but it makes the traffic on the other bridge much worse, more than by the number of cars that use the old bridge.

There was an almighty loud bang overhead and then silence! My daughter said it was preceded by a strong wind and rain and a brilliant flash.
I couldn't tell as I was in the shower. It has calmed down now.
