The fields by the side of the roads had huge lakes in them that I don't ever remember seeing so there must have been a reasonable amount come down overnight... I had ordered a new rear light unit for my wife's car. I went to pick it up yesterday and it had disappeared. They located, it had been round Bath sight seeing, it is now back in the garage.

The river Avon in Chippenham has burst it's banks. A place where you could have easily paddled across yesterday is now under 6 to 8 feet of water. We must have had a lot of rain in the night.
