Looking at that vid after cleaning mine and the fragrant MrsP 's headset, it would appear that I did not put enough grease on. I'll have to do it again tomorrow.

When I had my Headset apart it was well greased but the grease on the bottom bearing was contaminated, black and gritty, the bike is mostly used in dry conditions, has mudguards fitted and is about eleven months old.

4.15 she is smuggly sitting in the window.There is a small mouse on the floor. I stoop to remove the mouse but Henry gets there first. He is now running around my very muddy garden with it.
