Told the wife that Norfolk is a dry county before we went away, I don't think she believes me any more.

Thankfully yes Europe will still be there and we will always be part of it but if they all vote out then there is no EU to moan about. What a turn around that would be?

I suspect that much of the anger and resentment coming from Brussels is based on the fear that the dominoes are going to start to topple. If that means that in 10 years we have a free trade zone of co-operating soverign countries then the pain we are about to go through might be worth it.

12 years ago Mr Hop told me the same. The weather has done nothing on the whole in that time to make me believe him!
Getting to work was interesting yesterday. Where there wasn't water there were sand/gravel banks and missing bits of road.
