Just been for a lie down, knackered after half day. My back has been dodgy all weekend. Finally got my electric sit/stand desk, and the new chair is on order. Managed to rob another chair for the immediate future as the one I was given was falling apart. Will do a bit on the turbo later.

I think I have a new recruit for the ride, my older brother flown freshly in from Delhi (aborted Himalayan bike trek). He was worried that his current gearing is so low that he reckons that he can only do about 18km on the flat. I assured him that he wouldn't get dropped, while secretly thinking ''Oh goody, a bimble!'' (Besides, I have a print out of the route....)

I haven't cycled 'properly' for months and am bloody slow at the best of times. Rest assured It is going to be a bimble.

It is for so much more than toast! As well as the aforementioned crumpets, then another staple in my life is a cheese and marmite sandwich, closely followed by dairylea and marmite on digestive biscuits.

Him Indoors is a fan of corned beef and marmite sandwiches as well.

This should be transcribed into law, however I did forget to put the HP sauce on my breakfast this morning and I feel a bit dirty for this transgression too.

Actual maple sirup pretty good on pancakes, as well.
