I had a bad pannier day! Just as I set off I noticed a loose bracket so decided to get out the Allen keys and tighten it. Checked the other as you do only to find it was looser!

Set off feeling smug that I'd dealt with it.... Only to find that one bracket came completely off near my friends house. She kindly abandoned her breakfast to come and help me (I did try cycling with it over my shoulder but it was too heavy (I haven't confessed to Mr Summerdays as he would tell me off for carrying too much in it)

Yep. Well lager... so it has to be cold. Proper beer has to be room temperature

I'd say proper beer has to be at cellar temperature (around 10-11 degrees) which can easily be achieved by wrapping bottle (or even cans ) in a damp cloth (tea-towel) and putting them in the shade for a while as long as there is a bit of a breeze.

Wasted the morning in hospital. My son is overdue his immunisations, but being a Type 1 diabetic, he's developed a really strong phobia of other people injecting him. Couldn't get him to have his immunisations.

Replacement chainring bolts arrived, but the cause of the bolt falling out is a stripped thread on the new chainring (new bike). I've ordered a replacement ring !

Bolts strip, so you order a new chainring!

TBH I'd go for a quality emulsion but be ready to give it a good wash (with 'sugar soap') and repaint every year, go well with the cupboard doors to give that clean/uncluttered look.

Best not mention any more about this Brexit bollox. I've just been hit with a surcharge on my holiday because Sterling has lost 21% against the Ringgit. I may have to go and claim it back from all the short sighted nobbers who thought they were voting to send all the Poles home.
