Snipe loves going on the train, especially if her owner lets her sleep in the aisle. Her owner doesn't, but that doesn't stop her from trying.

Edit: no charge on busses or trains, though Snipe's less keen on the bus as it's too rattly. She likes to travel in comfort.

National Express etc don't allow dogs, other than guide dogs. But then they don't allow bikes either, which says a lot.
Sabor was good at laying in the aisle too.

Seeing as I am still under the influence of severe man flu, and have nothing better to do I thought I'd have a look at this cycling race malarkey that is going on.
My God it's tedious, how do people watch this day after day?

There is almost a 50/50 split of actual cycling to adverts, roll on good health again when I can actually do something else instead

Thursday is the day to watch it when they go up Ventoux.

To be fair, you lasted longer than I ever have watching football.

They've never tried to lift a Labrador.
Or a GSD.

I have finally found @Salty seadog route from Deal to Dover though i stopped at the coastguard station but got the gist apart from the bit that comes down near the docks. More research needed on that bit.

I would not fancy doing it Dover to Deal between Dover and the Coastguard :surrender: but after that it's downhill all the way to Deal

Now to find as nice a route between Dover and Folkestone and then i may just have my route to Rye sorted.

@User10571 did mention a Kent coastal ride from Rye all the way round to Dartford. Reverse that route and it's mainly downhill, much more appealing.

Haha, excellent, merely a couple of years after I suggested it.....:okay: ....from where you are by the coast guard station it's downhill to anywhere you choose to go. Dover mugs you off as a cyclist, to get out of it is the best part of a mile uphill in any direction you choose then downhill from the top of the cliffs to anywhere.

Once you drop down into Folkstone it's flat as a pancake to Rye and you can ride the sea wall for miles or go inland and through the marshes.
