Morning, yet another grey start to the day. On a lighter note, who needs acupuncture when you have a mad kitten with sharp claws and teeth?

My legs and feet are miraculously cured of whatever ailment I was totally oblivious to.

Henry is just approaching 9mths and i sense a calming down in him.

Though that may just be the heat.

The vaccinations cost £7 but the guard can't afford them. We are going to pay for the rest of his children's jabs.

Gravel is on his way to Peru for his elective as we speak. He's volunteering in a rural hospital for 6 weeks. I wonder if they know what they are getting.

I'm with Jo on this one, if there is a need in the community for more vaccinations and Gravel was willing to organise at his end then I would be happy to dig into my pockets

It's a great job. He's running a dive concession on the shore of Lake Malawi. He's a bit sad at the mo because his security guard's 2 five year old children have just died of yellow fever. It's been a massive introducion to the realities of Africa.

Yes that's very sad.
