:hugs:my commiserations Dave:cuppa:.

I learnt something today, if ordering toast at Hatton Locks don't order two slices, one slice is enough, they specialise in door step sized slices.

Mrs loon complained she couldn't get to sleep because cat was snoring. Cat and I are now wide awake as Mrs loon is snoring like a warthog ( or at least how I imagine a warthog would snore).

A few years ago we had a holiday in New York, my Good Lady, myself and eldest lad, in his late twenties on that trip I think, we all shared a family room, the lad reckoned sleeping in the same room as his mum was like sleeping next to a busy steam engine shed.

I snore (I'm told). The trouble is I have no idea I'm doing it, as I'm asleep... my partner (on the other hand), has started making noises when awake and seems unaware that he does it - he is making 'mmm' and 'uh-hmm' sounds. Sometimes its every few seconds for hours on end. I'm not sure what this means but its driving me insane.:hyper:. I ask him about it and he looks puzzled, so I guess he doesn't realise he's doing it.

Anyway, I'm working on the snoring by telling myself, before I go to sleep that I don't need to do it. No luck so far!

It's not a warthog, it's a snorthog. No known cure.
CPAP machine.
Makes a sound like the ocean roar,
but no snore.

I've got a busy day today, I'm pedalling of to the post office shortly, then a few bits to do in Coventry, a couple of hours on the M6, a few bits to do in Warrington and then another couple of hours on the M6
When you say a couple of hours on the M6..... I assume you mean you are travelling about 5miles...?

Today is the day of the year I avoid motorways if I can.... I expect the system will be grid locked locally by about 2 pm! And then they move onto the A roads but luckily going the opposite way to me!
