Controversial I know but I cannot get excited about women's cycling. Glad they are getting more air time,support etc etc but not for me. Also without fail they always squeal like little girls,doing nothing for women IMHO.

Being a woman in a mans world trust me behaving like that sets us back donkeys years.

The downside to yesterday was the portaloos, no water to flush so they contained everyone else's waste, no hand sanitisers, we had to buy some, the only hsnd washing facility was running water. I am clsustraphobic so being cooped up in an airless confined box made me sick but it had to be done. The music soon took away the horribleness of it all.

I have no problem with seeing anyone letting out any show of positive emotion.

That is what puts me off Festivals, not 'Off The Tracks' though as not only do they have brick toilets with handbasins but brick shower rooms too (The venue is a 'Caravan Club' campsite as well as a Hotel)
