I'm doing the Way Of the Roses. So heading across to Settle and Grassington tomorrow. I see Vernon did a similar route in 2013 and wrote about it here:

The thing is, everyone had to be quiet so that TVC and the engineer Norman could listen to what was going on, drivers turned up to collect/deliver but the forklift could not be used until test was over so the drivers were not happy, but it was strange to see so many people gathered around watching.

I went for a play in the woods with a couple of mates.... I'm still the weakest link by a long way but I did manage to not put my feet down so often, though I did lots of girly screams occasionally! I also managed to get a 5th fastest woman on one segment... WOW (just don't ask how many people had tried that segment)
