Hardest thing was always getting them to take tablets, that's when the real fun starts

This thing about flea treatment... don't you just use the little drop on the skin system? I don't seem to have any trouble with the dog - but maybe cats are different. I just squeeze a little drop into his fur. As for worming - he gobbles up the 'treat' after being made to sit. Perhaps I am just lucky. Mind you...the dog is a complete pest in other ways.

My worming and flea treatment are all in one and it's a spot on thankfully.

Two of our cats could smell the flea treatment as soon as you opened it, and would go nuts. One would start fretting.
Our current one isn't bothered by it.

A lot of the drops have stopped working. Luckily I too have a dog who thinks that food is food is food.

Cats are far more streetwise than daft dogs, they cannot be fooled as easily.

Yep it's a spot on treatment. The boys cope at a push, but it must smell bad to Bramble cos she always knows and always runs away. Also I think some of the previous types have actually stung their skin.

In my experience, dogs have a problem determining what isn't food. Mind you, our dog was quite capable of detecting tablets in the depths of food.
