Yes they are no way pokey and having the kitchen area is handy. We once stayed in a similar set up in London and it saved us having to eat out every time.

Had a lovely luncheon of two slices of wholemeal toast, one with gammon & mustard, one with a rather fine cheddar cheese, plus a banana, an orange and two 
Spent the afternoon doing all the doings I mentioned earlier. As a result, the utility room is now vaguely tidy as opposed to its usual status as a general dumping ground.

Cat has been fed. Soon it will be time to feed me.
A water bed comes from November to January, when the river rises.
Seems to have been a dry day if a touch cold bar a nice sunny spell at lunchtime. A rare Tuesday WAH and it would have been perfect to ebike to the office and back. Office tomorrow and weather looks very unpleasant.
Opened a Lidl "Nakd" bar this am , had white streaks on it and was was shrivelled up a bit. Tried another from the same pack. Just the same. Then one from another. just the same. Then one from a pack dated Nov 2024 as opposed to Oct 2024 and that was okay. Looks like buying in bulk when cheap hasn't worked well. Will check any other Oct dated packs and take the problem ones back to them.

Evening .
It has been raining this evening. It had managed to stay dry until then.
I think that there may be a falling out at the new shed. At our first AGM I said that I wasn't happy being at the new place . I was the only person who voted against the new venue. For the past couple of weeks the numbers of peeps going has declined. I spoke to one chap this afternoon who I thought would have been there, he said that he doesn't like the place as much as our previous home. The tables are smaller and further apart which limits where we sit . It also means that we can't have conversations like we used to . Nobody brings in anything for us to see or chat about. I took along a couple of books today, a souvenir book of Brooklands and a car book showing cars from the 50's. They caused some interest but that was basically limited to 3 people. The new place has lost the spark of the old place . We used to be able to go outside at the previous rugby club house when the weather was fine. There were views across open fields. The new place seems more like a prison!
