We stayed once in the van the other year it's not been updated since the club handed it back to YAS. We had a pitch in the inner bit so surrounded side and back. Not our sort of site too big and too over priced for what you get. It is in a handy place and was great for the bus stop up the road and basically having Sainsbury's next door.

We were there on business so the business paid and yes the bus stop was very handy to take us into the area of the Exhibition Centre.

Thanks for that 👍👌

On reflection replacing the bridge would have cut off the north end of Mull for quite a whileso putting in another one was not only practical but essential.
There was a 10 yard section of carriageway at that point on a fast stretch of road not resurfaced. Our managing director had a Rover 90 and was always boasting about how good a driver he was at his advanced age. He was being harassed by a car behind but kept them behind until just before the bad bit when he slowed and they shot past and hit the bad bit at high speed. Their wheels were 3 ft off the ground he said and he laughed so much he had to stop for a while to calm down. Nasty old bu—— but not being a yes man I got on well with him.

It's been a grey, showery and extremely blustery day here chez Casa Reynard.

My internet has been doing the Hokey Cokey all day thanks to the wiring issue on a nearby pole. It's frustrating to say the least. I really ought to get onto BT to have a look at it.

On the flip side, I have catalogued another bunch of F3000 photos. These ones haven't been too problematic because they all came from the same source, were taken by the same photographer, and were reasonably well documented. A few holes in the info, but nothing I couldn't plug thanks to other stuff I have. Still, it makes a refreshing change from some of the material I've handled over the years.

I've also managed to do a good bit on a writing project needed for July. It's been problematic, but is slowly coming together.

I am now sat down with a :cuppa: and a biskit

Turned out quite a nice day with only a couple heavy showers
Craignure ferry terminal a bit chaotic as the Post Office had sent over 3 vans but failed to check if there were any drivers so the ferry was stuck till a driver could be found which they did eventually. Fortunately he was a good sprinter for running back on board for the next van. Normally they travel with no driver on board to save cost.
Meantime traffic for the next sailing was checking in. Fortunately all good tempered.
Son has just gone out for a run with the local club and I am now resting after a chaotic and busy day.
This is the view from my window when I arrived at base camp.

A judge in a court case in Australia today descibed a group of supporters of the accused, who had indulged in synchronised movements whilst sitting in the court, as "contumelious". Superb!! I had to reach for the dictionary.

My wireless noise cancelling headphones are now installed.

My puter had a wobble and I called out the very expert computer man who lives near here. While he was here fixing the wobble, I asked him to install the headphones as I had failed.

Now when The Patient wants to watch things on the television that are not my :cuppa: I can listen to Meat Loaf, or Cher in comfort while knitting. :music:

Yes, it was a wobble, cos the thingybob that goes in the wotsit for wireless connectivity was working loose. Somehow he told the computer not to look for BT internet when the Airband wobbled.

For one of the best selling albums of all time? I'm not surprised.

I meant the results were all over the place & I couldn't easily figure out the name of the band

for example:

- Eclipse is the fifth studio album by guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen, released in 1990 through Polydor Records. The album reached No. 112 on the US Billboard 200 and remained on that chart for six weeks, as well as reaching the top 50 in six other countries, so that's not it

- Pink Floyd’s concept album The Dark Side of the Moon released in March 1973, "Eclipse" is the 10th & final track on the album, so that's not it

care to share with the ignorant like me who you are referring to? I can search longer but maybe you can help a guy out?
