I would like to report that I have done 35 miles and just turning homeward bound....... But reality is that I have just woken up and need a wee

My wife is watching videos of things to make from household objects. It gave me an idea of how to make your house burglar proof while you are away . My first idea would be to fill the floors with marbles but from watching the video I thought that coathangers might be just as effective!

I presume you know to smear grease for couple of inches round the outside diameter of your tubs and pots. Stops slugs and snails getting beyond the greasy bit.

I use WD40 Whatever you do don’t forget you have greased the tubs.if you forget and pick them up for some reason your toe’s are at risk of serious damage as the tub slips from your hands

Mrs O has determined that putting Marmite solution in her slug traps works as well as using beer. A most satisfactory conclusion, in my book

If your slugs are like me they will love the Marmite

Bright sunny and almost warm morning tho' the forecast warns of light showers.
Must get the trike out but not sure whether to go from home which can be a hard return or move the start to my usual area a couple of miles away.
Need to wait till the washing machine has finished and review the situation then.

Overnight rain ceased and had the horror of having to pay in M&S as the latest egift card ran out. Free Times and 75p 2 pints milk from Waitrose. A further large Toblerone bought as, the normally nothing I want in stock, Tesco Express had them at £2.75, provided you wave a clubcard at the till.

Good morning from what was a bright and breezy Suffolk , but is now just breezy Suffolk. Easing myself slowly into the weekend with an hour of just listening to the radio followed by a mug of coffee while listening to the radio - don't want to do anything too strenuous.

Le Mans morning warm up starts in about 45 minutes after which I'll pop out for a bit of fresh air and some food in preparation for a marathon session in front of the TV or Radio LeMans.
