Sunny start and the washer on, maybe a touch too optimistic.

I forgot to report that I changed my bedlinen yesterday. A fitted sheet got wrapped up inside a duvet cover and needed hanging up to dry after the tumble drier finished.

I'm off for brunch at my daughter's in a couple of hours. I might go up early and have a walk round Danson Park before that.

Nice sunny day is on the cards at least for the morning. Nice 8 miles walk to start the day time for another . Before setting off for quick trip into town. Will leave the morning battle with Charlie and his meds till i get back.

Then the Met Office cancelled the thunderstorm warming so washing outside afterall but it looks like a day keeping an eye on it.

Got a message to say that dad was being taken out for breakfast so he'll get a visit later this afternoon. Showered, shaved and breakfasted and felt much more with it so changed the bedding and put the removed stuff in the wash before heading out for a bit of fresh air - which turned out to be a lot wetter than forecast and required finding shelter from the for 15 minutes.

Looks like the rain shower has now moved on to hail stones.

Was too nice stay in and local radio was predicting afternoon showers. A 4.4 mile Asda trek during which, on the return, at precisely midday the 🌧️ came, turning very heavy thankfully as I passed under tree cover waiting at its edge for the worse to pass. As for the washing...

Being an Eltham Park boy, Danson Park & it's Open-Air lido were my stomping ground...

Gardening has been gardened. Weeds have been pulled & hoeing has been hoed.
Before I'd even got the implements back in the shed, a couple of Blackbirds were down, rummaging around for worms & tasty bugs! 🐛

Post midday rain it turned sunny and of course gusty. Washing dried as a result.
Long delayed task undertaken of seiving the last two tubs of the soil from the trough that had a clematis in it until it died last year. The purpose being to retrieve the decorative chippings that had got mixed up in the soil.
