neighbor recently adopted 2 small cats, maybe they were kittens. they are still quite juvenile. they have taken to "walking" one of them, with a leash, in our back area & seemingly wherever the cat wants to lead them. full harness & everything. pretty funny watching a human being led by a cat

It is grey here but dry. Georgie hasn't been in for breakfast so I haven't put his wet food down. He's got biscuits.

Just a thought, do you have a self defrosting fridge/freezer. The noise mine makes some times is of the what the hell was that variety

My brother mentioned a high pitched noise which we can't hear might be upsetting him. He was sleeping in his Cat Cave the other day under the table in the kitchen.

Bright sunny morning so must get out for a trike run.
Problem is where to go?
Roads are not pleasant and forest tracks are pretty rough. I may have a go at a track I have not followed before which I am told by an ex cyclist is not too bad.
At least it should be free of touroid since it is up a road marked "authorised vehicles only" and I am authorised.

The summer finally seems to have arrived. Sunny and warm on the perambulation this morning 🌅

I see they're starting more road works and have closed all the pavements and diverted pedestrians on a roundabout route again. Must be about 8 months since they last dug that place up so I suppose it's due again.

Pavements are a convenient place for road workers to park their tractor and trailer and put up their signs.

I understand they're going to be putting in a cycle lane with all the usual whining from drivers on the local FB page. Apparently the road is so steep nobody could ever ride a bike up it. I used to ride up it on a 65 inch fixed gear so hardly impossible.

Time to start work for the day.

I was thinking about cats climbing things. My old cats would sometimes climb trees. Schrodie was a pain at times as he would climb up and get out through open windows and on to the top of our porch. He broke a large china fish my wife was fond of when he jumped down from an open window. Georgie doesn't seem so interested in climbing. He will climb our fence and sit on a post or climb onto the roof of my garage. I think he has learnt not to sit on the garage door as I close it. I have seen some cats climb up the walls of houses gripping the bricks or wooden cladding. Georgie doesn't seem that interested in climbing into our loft like our other cats who would shoot up there as soon as I placed the ladder there.

Watching dolphins in New Quay bay harbour. Shame is, we paid £70 for a boat trip to see them at 12.00.
