The old codger won't listen! A couple of weeks ago we had arranged to do some welding on his van. My friend had cleared his garage of his motorbikes so that we could do the welding in the dry. That morning he drove his van to my friends garage. Would it be ready this evening? It must have been 10.30 in the morning and I was going to drive him across town to take him back home. I would then have to change into some tatty clothes which I don't mind getting spatter holes in before I could crawl around the floor to do the welding. He took his van home. My friend has agreed that I can still do it in his garage. Today the old codger asked if we could load my welder into his van and do it outside at his home ! I said that it would be better in the dry and out of the wind in my friend's garage. I said that you can't guarantee the weather, the wind can blow the gas shield away and make welding difficult. My friend's house is only a couple of minutes away by bike so I could pop home whenever I wanted. I felt like telling him where to go!

3.40 UPS arrived. Not going to Sainsbury's at lunchtine seemed to be have an advantage that post lunch became aware of Topcashback having a £2 bonus on a £5 spend. I was going to pick up a new extension lead (not lounge tv related for a change) from Argos in Sainsbury's. Just placed the order to be told collect from 9am tomorrow, flip as I need to go to Sainsbury's tonight.

That's the badger. Can be annoying in the morning until the muscles have warmed up a bit; I tend to compensate by underusing my right knee until I'be been riding for a while.

A dryish cold day with rain hanging around the edges. My favoured trike route would be in low cloud so fairly damp and no pleasure.
Today’s excitement is a lot of people getting their proverbials in a twist about a survey on possible experiences of criminal behaviour. I have a letter which nobody on the Ross of Mull has but they are a strange lot down there.
I did point out that I could easily produce a plausible official looking letter and even make a laminated photo id card to hang round my neck which did not help.

The kitten missing for 24 hours was found by search parties stuck up a tree so picures of very scruffy looking cat posted back home and emergency helicopter cancelled.

If you want the use of a mobile wood fired sauna this is the place to come as somebody has converted what looks like an old horse box. Wood fired is important.

Did not sleep well on account of my knee. I have had a busy day, doing laundry, kitchen stuff and various chores.

I plan on having a quiet evening.

Saw this adjacent to the beach in Portobello Edinburgh last weekend. Daughter has used it and says it's great. Out of the sauna across the prom and into the sea 😎
