I have a dual passport by virtue of being born in the Republic of Leeds.

Talking of Kirkstall Brewery - they're now dealing with North Brewery's deliveries after they rescued them from the receiver.

Picked a drowned one out off Crinan once. Rigor mortis hadn't even set in. Butchered it on a beach and sailed away.

I decided to go for a ride with my friends this morning despite the drizzle and rain we had. I managed to set off in a dry spell but it started drizzling whilst I was on my way. Luckily it didn't last long and didn't rain whilst we were out. My friend had chosen the wrong day to do the route we did as the Beaufort Hunt were out. We kept passing horse boxes and trailers parked along our route with plenty of mud on the road. At one point 2 of us stopped. A friend said that his brakes weren't working so I stopped to adjust them for him. This is where we got separated. Instead of waiting for us 3 others cycled on. When we came to the next road junction we assumed that they had turned off. That was the last we saw of them until they turned up at the cafe.

Dragged myself into the office this morning
An outdoor visit needed doing and no one volunteered to do it for me. So the requisite documents collected along with a bag of flour! The last batch of flour from Ocardo via a work colleague had a freefrom white bread flour in it, I can get that easily. Ocardo accepted the error and eventually have sent a free brown bread flour bag.
Needing some bananas the car did a slight divert to Aldi only to find stacks of very green ones. So an evening hunt for some coming up.

Not something many people could do.
I was taught by a butcher friend but also had some friends who accidentally shot ones which landed already gralloched on our kitchen floor. Fortunately my wife was not fazed by a bit of blood and guts. Filled the freezer nicely.
At Christmas we got a turkey with wings still flapping from a farmer friend followed by panic stricken phone calls from mutual friends who had no idea what to do with their one.
