Morning.
Grey and frosty here.
I managed to squeeze a gallon into a pint pot yesterday. I picked up the bike which was going to be thrown out. It is in very good condition. I was surprised by how well it rode. I usually ride with drops and found the bike to be comfortable with straight bars. I was having a bit of fun riding it.

I think I've made a new record for time taken to send an email on this system.

I yesterday (Thursday) needed to send a photo by email to a colleague in another town.

Simples: pic on phone, plug into computer, attach send (Wireless connection? forget it.)

So...

Take picture.
Plug in phone.
Computer won't recognise phone.
Plug in phone to Windows 7 computer we keep for this sort of problem.
This won't recognise phone either.

Wait for rest of day

Take phone home
Plug into lapütop.
Uplosd picture
Attach to email
Send to work email

Friday morning:
Arrive at work, email arrived.
Spend half an hour persuading computer to allow picture to attach to new emai.
Send email 24h late.

Management is wondering why we are not "more productive".

Could you suggest that you and SWMBO visit the National Railway Museum in York and whilst that way you could pick up a bike? If she doesn't agree to that then say that you will go to the East Yorkshire Air Museum instead.

It works for me !
Better suggestion take wifey out for the day.Kid to get lost, and say i will just stop here and seek directions.Jobs a good un.

Good morning from Suffolk where it's a bright and sunny start to the day after an icy night. Coffee has been had and the bedding changed earlier in the week is currently in the wash and will go on the whirlygig when done as it's forecast to stay dry all day (fingers crossed).

I may do a little bit of weeding of the front garden this morning, but nothing much more than that. The fuchsias are starting to bud and need to be cut back, but that (and the cutting back of the lavender) can wait until next week when it looks like being frost free.

Day off and another one with a wrong weather forecast - none of the frequent rain showers predicted yesterday so far but sunny.
Had a rare brainwave. Swop round the Roku (which normally works in the spare, folding bike like thingy located, room with a WiFi booster switched on) with the Google Chromecast on the kitchen TV; now appears to be no need for the WiFi booster.
