thanks for the wishes , i seem to fly under the radar everywhere anyway ..... you will have to excuse my grumpy mood as im tired after a busy week and a non stop weekend then im facing long hours next week due to a big breakdown so cycling will be canned as i dont fancy getting home at 2 am from a 2.30 pm start.

Watching Paris Nice on PVR playback of ITV4 and suddenly a bang and a momentarily power cut. Thought it was the TV but instead it turned out to be the 4 way remote control socket strip the TV was plugged into.

As I type this Mrs W is laid on the sofa snoring. She denies that she snores but regularly complains about my earth trembling snores. Would it be advisable to tape her efforts or would it likely end in tears probably mine.

I did it with my OH and she took offence, the silence was great for 2 days until she realised she was at fault. Only time she's admitted being wrong in 30yrs.

Had a supper of beef & vegetable soup, followed by some random leftovers from the fridge.

Other than a quarter of a tub of coleslaw and some cooked new potatoes, there are no more leftovers. Although the potatoes were being reserved in order to go into tomorrow's aloo keema.

And yes, I *did* win the auction on the Bay of E.

For better or for worse, although the latter may probably be the case, I am now awaiting the arrival of a 1969 ladies Longines watch. Having said that, a good clean will make a big difference, as will a new strap, because in its current state, it is rather skanky.

As for the rest, we'll just have to see. I could've bid on a Certina DS.
