I've gone onto a site to help me with my Saxaphone. They seem to think that I need to get it serviced and looked at. They have suggested a different mouthpiece. I can see that a different mouthpiece is required. I have tried just holding my clarinet mouthpiece against the end of the sax and managed to get some sounds.
The group seems to think that I will become professional and people pay me to play. Fat chance! People will more than likely pay me not to!
I am quite happy tinkering, sorting out problems as they arise. A lot of comments must be coming from America where people can get things. I have searched online for wind instrument peeps in a 20 mile radius and there seems to be nothing. Guitars yes but not wind instruments.

Good morning from a bright & sunny Suffolk. Coffee has been had while listening to the radio and the sounds of a youth football match on the local playing field.

There's another load of washing being done on free solar electricity and, once that's been done and put on the whirlygig to dry, I need to go out and do a bottle bank trip followed by some food shopping for today and tomorrow's day out. Just a word of warning - shorts may be worn if it's warm enough.

Mama crow is safely bedded down on her eggs and facing in a north-easterly direction for a change. Papa crow was on the aerial next to his favourite chimney pot but has just flown off northwards towards Surrey Quays.

Oh, mama crow has veered northwards. She only seems to shift position when I'm not looking.

The day cleared nicely for our cable car ride in Koblenz. First pic at 09.30, second at midday

Didn't sneak a ride out, as MrsF was in.

I asked first ! LOL.

24 miles, a mix of on and off road on the CX bike. No pain from my hip, and no 'roughness' from the previously broken socket. Power is down, but I still managed to catch someone on a climb. Stopped for a coffee with about 5 miles to go at a little mobile coffee van on the Middlewood Way - if I get out tomorrow am, I may just do the same - coffee was very nice.

I was a little over dressed with a new Polaris top (warm one) so I'll go lighter weight tomorrow. Mainly overcast which was a relief with a wardrobe error.

Rare westerly outing for the ebike this afternoon. That was as a result of a ride to Asda this morning with used coffee pods and finding the parcel return device non operative. Waitrose was then visited who had no free store newspaper.
So an uphill westerly ride to the "local" recycling site in the middle of the countryside. The requiste bin being right at the exit, which is passed to get to the entrance, so easily reached without risking the tyres through the recycling site. Definitely no need to use the motor assist on the return.
