I've managed to miss all the rain so far today as it started to tip it down just as I got to Tunbridge Wells station.
The problem is that I'm now stuck at Ipswich for a while as they cancelled my intended last train. Better news is that a free coffee has been had thanks to Octopus and the delay repay claim for the ticket cost has been submitted while I wait for the next train.

Oh my word the meal was superb,Thai food is excellent,plus three spring rolls i love 'em.The a bus to Wickes more brushes,then Costa where i got a lift from our Son who came over from Manchester to surprise his granddad.Good day so far.

Thr rain absolutely hammered down a while ago. We had a stream running down the drive out the front of our house. The rain poured down so fast on the roof of our rear extension that it overwhelmed a skylight and some water came in.

Morning work visit to Ripon and on the former highly dangerous 3 lane Ripley bypass the alignment of the middle both ways lane was being used southbound due to an accident with one rather crumbled BMW - self inflicted I presumed.
Lunchtime saw the ebike at the hospital cycle stands to collect the latest prescription
Another day where its been sunnier than preedicted.
