Aren't peeps weird!
I was watching a chap on the TV talking. It's alright to mention him as an example as he was from the nasty party. His chin was disappearing! His lower jaw seemed to be going up into his face a long way. Totally opposite to Jimmy Hill who had a big chin.

On Sunday I met a chap who has a slow puncture. He was pumping up his tyre hoping to make it home. He had another 8 miles to go. If he was going my way I would have offered to give him a lift from my house but he was going in the opposite direction. I asked him what bike it was. He said it was a Parlee and had imported it from America. Never heard of them! The only thing which stood out and looked special was the gold/ copper colour to the disc brakes. The bike was a lovely dull dark grey. I saw one in my magazine and they aren't cheap! I don't know which one it was but he was complaining about having to pay import duty on it.
If I was to spend that sort of money I would want it to look special.

The trough is wide enough for them to root sideways. Equally have one in another trough without problems.

Good morning from a partly sunny, partly cloudy, but most definitely chilly Suffolk. A slow start to the day is being had, along with the second coffee already.

I'm awaiting a delivery which, being done by DHL, is usually first thing but are still showing as being at the delivery depot so I could have popped out and got the food shopping for the next couple of days done by now.

Delivery updated for after 13:30 so a load of washing has been set in motion and I'm off on an extended shopping trip.

HK has now shut down. I've never seen it so quiet around here. Airport will be shut in about 30 mins time until Thursday morning. This is why.

This is shaping up to be the strongest typhoon to hit HK in history. The good news is that I managed to get a 90 min ride in this morning up the Tai Mo Shan hills.

Today I learned how to change the language on the washing machine. Someone had reset it to Danish. As there are no Danes here, I assume it was one of the press-random-buttons-until-it-does-something-strange-and-then-run-away people.
