Good morning from Suffolk where, after a very foggy start, It's turned into another lovely and sunny morning. Coffee has been had and the recycling bin has been emptied and needs to be retrieved.

Today's tasks will be removing the old (knackered/damaged) camping chair & stools from the car, removing and scrapping the fabric so that the metal frames can be added to the next recycling centre trip and putting the replacement chair & stool into the car. I also need to get the clippers out for a haircut, do some food shopping for the next few days and, if the sun dries the back garden enough, give the grass a quick cut late this afternoon.

Looked out of the kitchen window and the seed feeder was full. Next time I looked out it was half empty with the rest on the floor:scratch:
Lunchtime car trip to the Co-op to return the Amazon slippers then into town for a pair from M&S.
Icing the twisted ankle seems to be working as no limping and notably my right foot fkat on the ground

I am sure there are people on this thread who have young children or grandchildren. Without getting political, I have a question about school libraries. This follows a speech at a party conference.

If schools have already closed their "libraries" to create another classroom, they presumably still do not have enough space. I would think that an easier option is to have a (large) bookcase/cupboard with a selection of books aimed at the age/ability of that class. I recall a scheme whereby big Libraries would loan books to small schools for perhaps a term. This ensures a turn around of books.

What do your grand/children have for a library?
