First Stollen of the Christmas period spotted in Aldi. The great annual Stollen migration gets earlier and earlier year by year.

Just returned from our local Aldi and the central isle is loaded with Christmas food IE mince pies, stollen , reindeer noses , Christmas puddings galore had to sneak a couple into the basket purely for testing

Still very windy when I went out on the bike to do the shopping earlier but it's dropped down to just windy now, Since then the old farm derby has been listened to, the Singapore F1 race watched on catch-up and coffee had with a couple of custard doughnuts to regain the energy expended on the bike. I think I've also got everything sorted on the new phone.

Next up - freshly grilled sausages and brown (fruity) sauce in a couple of Lidl's demi-baguettes and an evening of doing very little.

I had a relaxing day really. Still quite breezy. Mostly dry but some horrible showers.

I decided to go for a bit of a coastal hikes and got soaked!

Sunday evening live music fix now.

They had all the Chr***mas chocolates in the one localish to me when I was in there last week. I resisted the temptation.

I've succumbed to the Belgium Cocoa Dusted Truffles, being one the few chocolate items in their I can eat and on a 360g Toblerone equivalent work out at £5.05 so not that expensive. So its two truffles with a 9pm drink rather than one piece of Toblerone.

The non-recycling bin has been moved to the front of the house ready for emptying on Monday morning. There's not a lot in there, mostly a black sack of clippings from when I last cut the grass, nut it might as well get done and I should be able to return the empty bin to its normal resting place before I leave to catch the train.

Now time for the evening's hot chocolate.

Speaking of bins trespassed this morning. Neighbour whose drive is next to mine has sold and moved out but no one yet has moved in. They had an annoying habit of leaving their wheelie bins at the dead end of the drive. Due to the wind circulation between the houses they invariably fell over hitting or just missing my car.
So this morning with them once again fallen over I got the side gate open and the moved within the fenced off property.
