Tradesmen have turned up next door to carry on the rear garden makeover, looks like the top layer of weeds has been removed as now everything is just trodden down with a few random slabs , no idea what next door are actually having done

Good morning from Suffolk where it's a clear skies & sunshine start to the day. Coffee has been had.

I need to pop into town this morning to pick up something from a delivery locker (there was a £3 discount for trying one compared to home delivery) and then I think a few hours of enjoying the sunshine while it lasts is in order. The trousers & shirts than need ironing can wait until a cloudy morning.

Well, the delivery from ParcelForce didn't come on time. A 4-hour window is too small for them. But they did just come.

Looking forward to the morn as I'm planning on my first 'proper' bike ride post aneurysm op of three months ago.
I'm taking the route that was my work route to Wymondham; about twelve miles each way, much on cycle paths, So I can simply take my time and judge how I get on.
Mind you, the ulterior motives are Merv's Hot Bread Kitchen and the Wymondham Friday market which among others, has a stall which sells near end of use by date confectionery - !

Just tidied up my bank accounts.
Closed the ones with fiddly wee amounts in them, transferring the balances to our joint account and then opened up a saver with 6.5% interest for a year.
