While my PC installed yet another update, I used the time to make this evening's hot chocolate.

My SSD laptop installs updates very quickly. Ones with hard drives take forever

Sat on kitchen floor checking washing machine doesn't leak so far so good.

Good morning from Suffolk where the grey cloud cover has returned. Coffee has been had.

I really should be doing the domestics today, but that can wait until Thursday when the forecast wind & rain will make for an indoor day. A slow morning is in prospect with a couple of hours out on the bike later on.

My SSD laptop installs updates very quickly. Ones with hard drives take forever

The computer is an SSD one and the update was shown as taking an estimated 3 minutes to install which is roughly as long as the hot chocolate making takes - the update actually took less time and the PC was waiting for me to input my PIN after the restart when I went back in to the living room.

Replacement washing machine has done it's job a lot quieter and quicker than old one so success.
Time for a second cuppa and a slice of toast

My fit band says I had an excellent night's sleep - three trips to the toilet but I now manage to go without really waking up so that's fine . However, my head says I'm still not properly awake.

On the other hand, the pot of tea finished, the first coffee of the day was so good I'm going for a sequel.
