Good morning from a bright and sunny Suffolk. Quite a cold one last night as I had to spread the dressing gown over the bed as an extra layer for warmth.
Coffee has been had and the overnight bag placed by the front door ready for today's away day in Brighton. I've got tickets to see two bands (Newdad at Chalk or The Lovely Eggs at Concorde 2) and still haven't decided which one to attend. The decision will probably be made by the weather as, if it's raining as currently predicted, Chalk is the closest to the hotel. Must also remember to stop off at Decathlon and pick up the waterproof jacket ordered midweek.
As my train from Ipswich doesn't arrive in London until around 13:30 there shouldn't be any football supporter types making a noise on their way to the Arsenal match.

I've found the one clock I didn't change to GMT yesterday evening - the central heating timer. It makes no difference as I didn't move it to BST in the spring anyhow.

Very nippy this morning,car reading 2 c so I had to scrape the windscreen, I don't cycle to work on Sunday so I can get back for Sunday roast

Complex logistics today.
Have to move Vanessa and connect her to the national grid. Cannot do that before 1200.
Then drop parcels at the shop before 1200 and fit in lunch.
But need to get lpg for Vanessa in the meantime.
Vanessa, the parcel shop and the lpg outlet are at opposite corners of a triangle. Home is in the middle, nearer the parcel drop off.
And avoid overcooking or having cold lunch which is on auto pilot. Matter of what timings to use.
Have to get them in the right order to avoid missing glass of wine with late lunch or not having lpg to cook lunch.

It's still pouring rain.
My rather ancient basic Casio digital watch becomes more difficult to change the time on each time. It takes so much pressure to get the buttons to work. I had the support the watch on the table and press the button very forcefully with a coin to get it to work.
I'm tempted to give the buttons a spray of WD40 or something.
It says on the face of it that the battery has a ten year guarantee. The watch must be fifteen year old, so the battery must be living on borrowed time at this point.
